You may have heard of manifestation and the law of attraction, but did you know that it’s actually more than just visualizing what you desire?
Beyond simply thinking positively, manifestation involves defining, embodying, releasing, and taking inspired action.
I first learned about manifestation over 13 years ago and it was fascinating. Like many people, I read The Secret and went on my way simply attempting to visualize my desires.
Well, shocker, that didn't lead to my desired outcomes. It was frustrating when I didn't see the results and so I gave up.
Although I'd put manifestation on the back burner, I always knew there was something more to it. There was something I must be missing.
Just under one year ago, I invested heavily into a manifestation program that has changed my life. It is a program I've repeated numerous times and will continue to do so until it's deeply ingrained in my subconscious mind to the point that it's just second nature.
It has been such an eye opening experience because I've realized that a lot of the manifestation tips out there really only get to the tip of the iceberg.
In fact, I've learned and embodied way more than I can include in this blog post so I'm going to share with you some really important steps that are often overlooked.
In this post, we’ll bust common misconceptions around manifestation and dive into how you can use meditation and mindfulness to connect with your intuition and set intentions. Get ready to learn how to create your dream life and live it unapologetically!
Manifestation is a concept often associated with the idea that individuals can bring their desires, goals, or intentions into reality through focused thoughts, beliefs, and actions.
It is rooted in various philosophical and metaphysical beliefs, such as the law of attraction, which suggests that like attracts like. (Spoiler alert, there are SO many more manifestation laws than just the law of attraction).
While manifestation practices can vary widely, the core idea is that by concentrating on what you want and embodying the version of yourself who already has what you desire, you can attract and create the circumstances or outcomes you desire in your life.
Misconception #1: Manifestation is just thinking positively.
While a positive attitude is essential, it’s not enough to manifest your desires. Manifestation involves defining a clear vision of what you want and embodying the version of yourself who has it.
This means letting go of limiting beliefs and aligning your thoughts, emotions, and actions with your desired reality. Without this step, thinking positively may only lead to short-term changes.
You're a human being having a human experience and you're going to experience negative emotions. What matters most is what your dominant vibration is.
Misconception #2: Manifestation is magical and effortless.
Manifestation requires conscious effort, intention, and action. You can’t just sit back and wait for opportunities to come knocking at your door.
Instead, you must take inspired action towards your vision and trust the process. This means following your intuition and being open to unexpected twists and turns along the way.
Think of manifestation as a focus muscle.
Misconception #3: Manifestation only works for some people.
Everyone has the power to manifest their desires. However, it takes practice and patience to master the process.
Remember that manifesting is not about instant gratification, but about aligning with your highest self and highest good. Trust that the universe has your back and that your success is inevitable.
Misconception #4: Manifestation is all about material possessions.
While manifesting material possessions is possible, true manifestation goes beyond physical objects. It’s about creating a life that aligns with your values, passions, and purpose.
This may involve manifesting inner qualities such as peace, joy, or self-love, or creating relationships, experiences, or opportunities that bring you growth and fulfillment.
This four-step manifestation method is a crazy effective technique for turning dreams into reality. It provides a clear roadmap for harnessing the power of intention and action to achieve your goals.
One thing I feel I must mention is that in no way am I attempting to oversimplify the manifestation process. What I've learned through my journey is that it takes so much inner work and healing to truly re-program your subconscious mind and manifest your desires.
This is LIFE work and it does take patience, consistency and faith.

OK, let's get to what you've been waiting for. Below is the 4-step manifestation process (the credit for this process goes to Kathrin Zenkina of Manifestation Babe, by the way).
1. Define, decide & declare what you are manifesting into your life.
The first step is to create the vision. You may be in a position where you know exactly what you desire.
You also may be in a position where you're unsure of what you want. That is perfectly ok!
I recommend spending some time in stillness and meditation every day so that you can connect with your higher self and access your intuition.
The more you consistently allow space for silence & stillness in your life, the more these answers will start to bubble to the surface of your mind.
2. Embody the version of yourself who is already living the life you intend to manifest.
This step is so, SO important and I honestly don't hear it talked about enough in the manifestation community.
This is where you embody the identity of that future version of yourself.
What are her beliefs, values, behaviors, thoughts, actions and environment? This is where you take on that identity ahead of time.
I must also add that this is where a lot of inner healing work will occur. It involves identifying, releasing, and replacing any limiting beliefs that come up.
It's in this step that you shift the dominant vibration of who you are being to match what it is you're calling into your life.
3. Release the "How" It's All Going to Unfold
In this step, surrender is the name of the game. This is where you let go of how it's all going to happen and all of the small details on the path to getting there.
You also let go of any time expectations in this step.
Personally, surrendering and letting go of the need to "micromanage" the Universe has been THE most challenging part for me but I am learning.
This is where you trust that your success is inevitable and you have unwavering faith that your desire will manifest at the perfect time.
4. Take Inspired Action As Each Step is Revealed to You
This is another part of the manifestation process that is not talked about enough.
It has everything to do with tapping into your intuition and letting it guide you. As you let go of the need to control the process, you will begin to get intuitive insights, hits, and downloads of what the next action step is.
Continue to follow your intuition and take inspired action steps as they come to you.
Stay focused and continue to do this until you live your vision.
Manifestation is not an overnight success story but rather a gradual process of bringing your vision to life.
By defining, embodying, releasing, and taking inspired action, you can create a life that aligns with your highest truth and purpose.
Mindfulness and meditation can help you connect with your intuition and set clear intentions.
Remember, you have the power to manifest your dreams and live a life beyond your wildest imagination. So go ahead, dream big and manifest like a pro.
